May 30th started out as a great day. Sunshine, friends, one buddy had just picked up his new TNytro. We started up the hill and went up our normal shortcut to get into the back country. It is a fun little climb between 2 rock walls. It was so fun that we climbed out a few times! On the last attempt, I didn't make it. I ended up coming back down over the right side rocks. My first fall was about 15' onto a snow pillow followed by a 2nd 15' fall into a crack/ crevass. I was very lucky to have Brent and Matt with me, they stayed calm and just took care of the situation. My sled faired well, a few weeks of work and she was back to good! My body was pretty bruised, broke a bone in my right hand and ended up with ligament damage in my left elbow. Luckily that day I put on my chest protector or else I would have had other more serious injuries!

The aftermath of my accident showed me what a wonderful group sledheads are! Roger and Rich picked up my sled and took it back to Roger's house. With in 2 weeks, with many hours of hard work, these 2, my Playmate and Craig had my baby straight and back together. My life is so much better because of the people in it.
